Red Velvet Brownie Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • Red Velvet Brownie:
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp red food colouring
  • 100ml cooking oil
  • 200g melted butter
  • 250g flour (2 cups)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Cheesecake Part:
  • 300g cream cheese
  • 100g plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp flour

Instructions

  1. Red Velvet:
  2. Mix sugar, butter and egg together.
  3. Add in cooking oil and red food colouring.
  4. Add in Flour and cocoa powder and mix.
  5. Once properly mixed, add in buttermilk and melted butter.
  6. Keep some batter aside to mix with the cheese cake (optional)
  7. Using a 9"x9" cake pan, bake at 175 Degrees for 30 mins.
  8. Cheesecake part:
  9. Mix cream cheese to ensure no lumps and slowly add in the rest of the ingredients.
  10. Once the red velvet brownie is baked, pour the cheese cake filling on top. Drip the remaining red velvet batter to create designs on top of the cheese cake.
  11. Bake again at 175 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
